Project Topic	CONFIRM will minimize foreign body reaction against implantable devices, generating durable 3D pouches made of bacterial cellulose called HYLOMATE. The pouch will be a standalone device designed around target implants. Its external surface will feature a topography implemented by means of a proprietary technology. Towards certification and market entry, production and purification procedures will be developed from laboratory to market prototype according to the regulatory and quality standards.
