| Project Topic | EGOPhe aims at seizing a 70+M€/year business opportunity in patient self-monitoring, by developing a new fluorometric lab assay to quantify Phenylalanine (Phe) levels in the blood and integrate it in a already developed handheld medical device - the EGO3 System, already demonstrated for other applications. By validating this new assay for the EGO3 System we will offer to 100 000+ patients worldwide the first home test, for instant, lab-grade monitoring of Phenylketonuria (PKU) disorder. |
