Project Topic	HEROIC will develop and commercialise high performance Graphene Oxide (GO) membranes for use in consumer electronic device speakers. Compared to State-of-the-Art (SOA) - Aluminium and Mylar - membranes, the HEROIC GO membrane will have greater sensitivity, extended frequency response, lower distortion, higher decibel rating, and higher thermal conductivity, giving the speaker 50% better frequency response (AES20-s2008), increased battery life (60%-70%) and (25%) improved power handling over SOA.
