Project Topic	Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) is key for autonomous/smart vehicle. Laws to minimise accidents by underinflated tyres mean new cars sold in EU (2014) and US (2008) have TPMS warning light. TPMS is not integrated into the tyre but located on the rim or valve stem; require a battery, periodic maintenance, are bulky and usually mount on the rim of the wheel. We want to scale up a self-powered, stretchable, embedded TPMS in the tyre during manufacture for a tyres-as-as-service business.
