| Project Topic | This project will develop the next generation of rapid, efficient and flexible composite tooling, using 3 complementary graphite based technologies: 1. Thermally conductive composite prepregs containing expanded graphite/graphene. 2. Durable, low cost direct tools machined from solid graphite. 3. Rapid, complex 3D printed tooling doped with graphene. The project will integrate the technologies to maximise the synergistic benefits and will produce at least 2 case study demonstrator tools. |
