Project Topic	Our goal is to develop a new ergometer-based rehabilitation system including a smart pedal analyzing pedaling movements and 3D force input on a therapy bicycle and an app with real-time audio feedback (sonification). The proposed pedal can be mounted on any ergometer and allows a detailed analysis of patients’ power output for each leg, coordination, and muscle activity. The audio feedback system motivates patients, improves the quality of movement, and avoids overloads by real-time monitoring.
