Project: Development of a high-power Li-Ion secondary battery based on cellulose separator technologies
Acronym | Lioncell (Reference Number: 113278) |
Duration | 01/09/2019 - 03/09/2022 |
Project Topic | We want to develop a new, innovative & almost market-ready (and price competitive) generation of high-power secondary (2ry; =rechargeable) Li-Ion batteries by using cellulose fibers as basis for a separator element, thereby increasing key performance indicators like battery lifetime, safety at high temperatures, output and stability in end-use conditions. First target applications/markets for the new battery pack are in cars (esp. for start-stop systems) & applications like e-bikes/e-wheels. |
