| Project Topic | A European source of CLBO nonlinear crystals beyond state of the art for frequency converting laser light into the deep ultraviolet (UV-C) spectral region will be established and novel laser sources utilizing this crystal will be developed. The novel laser sources will benefit from simplified CLBO handling as a result of an innovative post treatment and improvement of lifetime by crystal growth and surface polishing optimization. |
