| Project Topic | We develop an automated system to enhance the process for the safe detection, identification, clearance and removal of explosive ordnance (EO) from the seabed. Mounted on a remotely operated vehicle it will comprise besides classical detection equipment a LiDAR-based imaging system, an automated identification software and a cloud-based database. The LiDAR system will provide good view even in turbid water, assisting the automated object recognition from a safe distance via a 3D video mode. |
