| Project Topic | The project will develop and test the Integrated Turbine Pump (ITP), a breakthrough water pump which utilizes the energy of small water drops in canals or rivers to pressurize water for irrigation. The ITP requires zero external energy such as electricity or fossil fuel for its operation and can easily be scaled to sustainably serve large-scale irrigation schemes at a fraction of the current cost. Two different architecture will be developed to maximize commercial viability beyond the project. |
