Project Topic | The project will deliver the first-ever Organ-on-Chip (OoC) system that can keep complex 3D tissue models alive (through a vascularized channel including microfluidic flow) while providing mechanical stimulation. The system will be compact and usable with minimal training, hence saving biologists time and costs. It will integrate the BI/OND OoC technology with the Fluigent perfusion system, and it will be qualified by LUMC on cardiac 3D tissue models using human-induced pluripotent stem cells. |
