| Project Topic | We will develop and validate a portable device, PolarTBICheck, in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of sport-related mTBI. The solution consists on a blood sample analyser and a cooling cap, integrated via an APP. The blood analyser, TBICheck, allows for on-site diagnosis based on a panel of biomarkers, and will reduce the need of subsequent CT-scans with >50%. While the cap, PolarCap, allows for early treatment by cooling down the brain improving thereby the recovery rate and time. |
