| Project Topic | We want to develop a novel ultra-fast laser to improve the quality of existing medical eye treatments and to create new treatment options. Our proposed laser combines the ease-of-use and low cost of traditional Q-switched YAG lasers with the precision and low thermal impact of sophisticated ultra-fast laser systems known for e.g. in-situ keratomileusis. Our technology will make ultra-fast lasers commercially viable also for iridotomy, trabeculoplasty, or posterior capsular opacification. |
