| Project Topic | We develop a novel real time hazard and evacuation simulation system for both training and safety assessment purposes, co-simulating crowd, toxic gas/CBRN/fire spread, rescuers and injuries induced. BEST comprises a novel CFD/FFD algorithm on GPU and Cloud for real-time simulations, novel injuries, rescuers and dynamic building models with changing spaces, all interlinked via an ontology multimodel and BIM, aiming at improving preparedness and response against man-made or accidental incidents. |
