| Project Topic | Our goal is to develop innovative pollination strategies for strawberry and avocado protected crops (grown under artificial structures) based on new managed pollinators: Hoverflies. Through this project, we will obtain marketable, ready-to-use, pollination solutions and protocols for release of hoverflies alone or combined with other pollinators, compatible with common crop management practices. These solutions will help increase crop yields and fruit quality under different growing conditions. |
