Project: Preventing chronic migraine with a novel wirelessly powered implantable bioelectronic foil
Acronym | WPT4FOIL (Reference Number: 114528) |
Duration | 01/10/2020 - 01/01/2023 |
Project Topic | Salvia develops a minimally invasive bioelectronic foil for chronic migraine relief that is inserted under the skin and acts by stimulating cranial nerves just below the skin. The aim of this project is to deliver a wireless powering system for this foil that operates reliably, is easy to use, and complies with thermal and electromagnetic exposure limits. We will also develop the tools (test phantoms and dosimetric scanning system) that are essential in proving the safety of such a system. |
