| Project Topic | We develop the next generation of miniaturized active implantable medical devices (AIMD) relying on advanced soft encapsulation technologies instead of the conventionally used bulky cans made of metal or glass. The encapsulation performance is investigated through demonstrators at different maturity levels adapting existing products to breakthrough micro optical implants. We set up a platform concept applicable to various AIMDs, target design rule extraction and establish respective evaluation. |
