Project Topic	Bio-based production depends on the availability of efficient microbes (bacteria, yeasts, or fungi) with specific properties, such as activity and stability. In ArtIMiS, we will develop a new concept that will enable the rapid and cost effective design of commercially viable microbes. The approach is based on combining high throughput screening, sequencing, and artificial intelligence (AI) to identify genomic targets that can be engineered to improve the performance of a specific microorganism.
