Project: Co-Sintering a New Ceramic Technology for Safe and Reliable Energy Storage with Salt Batteries
Acronym | CoSiBat (Reference Number: 114556) |
Duration | 01/04/2021 - 01/07/2023 |
Project Topic | Energy intensive temperature processes dominate the production costs for NaNiCl2 batteries (Saltbattery) and burden a wide market penetration. Goal of the project is a new generation of batteries from an advanced and economic cell manufacturing. A one process co-sintering technology will be developed and substitute the conventional three temperature processes for producing the cell core components. Adapted cells with these components and demonstrate it in batteries will be the major outcome. |
