| Project Topic | This project will develop a ground-breaking new process for manufacturing high performance LFT (Long-Fibre Thermoplastic) moulding compounds from sustainable natural fibres and recycled carbon fibres. Previously it was only possible to make low-performance short fibre compounds from these discontinuous fibres This project will develop the LFT manufacturing process itself, as well as developing the techniques for injection moulding these new materials. |
