Project Topic	We solve a major global problem of acid suppressive agents. In the EU alone, the majority of over 78 million proton pump inhibitors (PPI) users should not take these according to studies. We develop the first saliva-based predictive quicktest to measure stomach acidity level before and during PPI usage enabling individuals with an acid free stomach to get an early warning to avoid PPIs and the associated complications. Early warning will help to tailor the treatment more accurately.
