Project Topic	The INFLATE project wants to provide solutions for the needs of Seafarers worldwide to have a lifejacket that allows them to move and work freely and without obstruction at sea. INFLATE wants to improve the ergonomics by using new inflation, thermal and design technologies to break the 60-year-old deadlock in lifejacket design. Due to the improved comfort the INFLATE jacket offers and its low maintenance costs, more sailors will wear a lifejacket which will lead to significantly fewer drownings.
