| Project Topic | In NeW-VIEUW, we will create a new generation of advanced metrology for mid-infrared (MIR) laser sources. Novel Wavelength Meters, driven by frequency upconversion, will enable measurements of MIR lasers with record-high precision, speed and sensitivity. The project will develop new upconversion devices for the MIR and deliver a range extended Wavelength Meter demonstrator system as a platform for product development, exhibiting the feasibility, advantages and ease-of-use of this approach. |
