Project Topic	We will develop and prototype disruptive, environmentally friendly, high performance lead-free piezoelectric ceramics (electroceramics) to offer a drop-in replacement for lead-based piezoelectric ceramics. Currently lead-based piezoelectric ceramics are RoHS exempt and exemption gets renewed due to non-availability of high performance lead-free replacement. Consumer electronics market is going to be targeted as the initial adaptor of the proposed lead-free piezoelectric ceramic material.
