Project Topic	Partners want to develop a scanner that introduces digital quality control in the industrial sapphire industry. It will provide “eyes” to see defects hidden in raw sapphire crystals (cracks, bubbles, inclusions) and to improve the yield harvested from each crystal. We will deliver an automated scanner for crystal defect detection, software for objective (human-independent) defect grading, and digital Quality Certificates paving the way for industry-wide certification of micro-LED sapphire.
