| Project Topic | APNOEAWAY will deliver Somnar, a contactless device to diagnose sleep apnoea, a disorder that causes breathing pauses during sleep. The device sits on the bedside table and will use a unique radar sensor to monitor sleep parameters while patients are asleep in their own bed. An AI algorithm will analyse sleep data and detect sleep apnoea. By the end of the project, Somnar will have been validated in a feasibility pilot study and will be ready for a pivotal trial required to enter the market. |
