| Project Topic | NNUTRIGUT will deliver Xtragut, a new food ingredient with protective effects on gut health, one of the top properties sought by consumers. Xtragut is derived from common crops, soluble, colourless, tasteless, vegan and can be incorporated into yogurts, cereal bars, drinks and powders, among others. By project end, the consortium will have performed in vitro and in vivo characterization and established human proof of concept. The product will enter clinical trials 1 month after NUTRIGUT. |
