| Project Topic | MultiLASE aims to develop and validate an innovative multi-spot pattern scanning laser (PSL) – MAPLE for ophthalmic laser treatment. MAPLE is a cost-effective (50% cheaper and saves surgery time), compact (90% size reduction), and user-friendly (unique user interface (UI) and voice control) laser photocoagulation (LPC) medical device class IV to be used by ophthalmologists to treat patients suffering from Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), Wet Age-related Macular Degeneration (WAMD), and Glaucoma (GL). |
