Project Topic	In the CANAAN project, we will develop BYDEX: a durable 3D pouch with antifibrotic and antibiotic properties for all-round protection against complications associated with medical implants. BYDEX results from the integration of two innovative technologies: an antifibrotic bacterial cellulose pouch and an inner antibiotic core. Technology integration and efficacy will be developed and validated from laboratory to market prototype according to the regulatory and quality standards.
