Project Topic	Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the main causes of death in industrialized countries. AMI-CARINA aims to develop a Point-of-Care-Testing (POCT) device based on the combination of Digital Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbant Assay (DELISA) and microfluidic biosensor with plasma separation approach enabling highly sensitive detection of AMI biomarkers in blood. Our biosensor will be superior to conventional POCT devices by a high sensitivity, a very good reproducibility and reliability.
