| Project Topic | We will develop a new generation of femtosecond ytterbium-doped fiber-laser systems with superior output parameters for various scientific and industrial applications. The new laser system with output powers of 80W, output energies of 500µJ and pulse durations around 100fs will allow usage in e.g. high-harmonic generation, time-resolved spectroscopy, or combustion studies. Less than 10fs pulse duration is planned by using a nonlinear compression stage for investigations on attosecond physics. |
