| Project Topic | Log wood stoves (LWS) are very popular room heaters, as they provide not only renewable heat, but have also become an attractive interior design element and support a calm living climate by the view on the flame. However, present LWS technologies are criticised for their high gaseous and dust emissions. Therefore, we aim at the development of GreenFIRE, a next generation LWS technology (5-10 kW) with significantly reduced harmful emissions, increased energy efficiency and improved user comfort. |
