| Project Topic | The aim of the project is to develop a virtual reality-based surgical simulator module that allows surgeons to develop and improve surgical skills in the field of arthroscopic meniscus repair. This meniscus repair module will allow the orthopedic surgeon to train on a physical knee model using adapted original instruments. Virtual reality is used to create a true-to-life image of what is seen during the surgical procedure. Furthermore, the project outcome will be scientifically validated. |
