Project Topic	Development of a batch process for production of a bio-based Self-Healing Agent to repair micro-cracks in concrete surfaces. The agent also waterproofs concrete surfaces (bridges/roads etc.) and steel constructions to minimise corrosion. The project will upscale the technology from demonstration to a full production process in which Poly Lactic-Acid is mixed with bacterial spores and nutrients, out of which a Self-Healing Agent is extruded and subsequently ground to deliver the final product.
