| Project Topic | LeakLoQu aims at developing a handheld standoff gas leak detection device for CH4 which is based on laser spectroscopy. The concept comprises a comfortable, sensitive and quantitative measurement technique to detect natural gas leaks. Due to an integrated range finder, the handheld instrument is able to provide a quantitative gas concentration measurement. As final outcome, our evaluation model will detect, localize and classify leaks in field tests as well as in explosion-proofed areas. |
