Project: Advanced High-Performance Vehicle Routing & Scheduling (VRS) through emerging parallel computing architectures
ADITI pursues going beyond the current state-of-the-art in VRS by developing advanced operational models and trialling different computational and algorithmic approaches based on emerging parallel computing architectures. This research will lead to the implementation of a VRS demonstrator system that is highly scalable, capable of implementing highly complex transport models, and able to produce highly optimized solutions._x000D_The project Ps are Skybus (Software Solutions for Transport), UPM-CESVIMA (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - Madrid Supercomputing Center) and GridWiseTech (High Performance Computing Solutions)._x000D_The project estimated duration is 34 months, with 6 CO blocks: 1) Project Management, 2) Scientific and Technological Prospect & Research strategy; 3) Modelling and design, 4) Demonstrator implementation, 5) Simulation and 6) Dissemination of results._x000D_Please refer to the confidential sections for a more detailed description of the project._x000D_
