Project: Development of a New Generation of Cob base Alloys modified with Ti for Dental applications

The purpose of this project is to develop new dental materials and prosthesis with superior mechanical performance and corrosion resistance as well as higher biocompatibility. Biocompatibility plays an essential role in the development and realization of dental devices even for scientific purposes. One of the challanging trends in designing biomaterials is modifying the materials already in use, by changing its surface through some potential processes or by adding new elements to the existing composition.
