Project: Online Integrated Automatic MTF Measuring Machine

Project Topic	As the demand for higher quality and higher resolution optical systems has become prevalent, both designers and metrology scientists demand mass production test stations for optical elements. Consequently, this technology is expected to be standard procedure. Prior technology's slow MTF measurement technique is expensive and inadequate for mass production. Current proposed technology will solve this and other important drawbacks by simultaneously testing multiple cameras. The proposed parallel testing method will be fast and accurate while meeting the high volume production of current market. To further facilitate market acceptance, automatic loading and unloading will be added as well as seamless production line integration. Duma Optronics has been involved in developing a novel lens testing technology, and has reached a proof-of-concept for this machine. We are starting this project in order to complete and integrate on production lines this new innovative technology, with the cooperation of our partner which has extensive experience in precision automation and machine integration on production line.
