Description

The SKEP ERA-NET brought together 15 key funders of national research programmes to support environmental protection and policy across 11 European countries. The project took a forward-looking, strategic overview of the research needs of policy and regulation for environmental protection and enabled the effective deployment of research resources across Europe that met the EU's environmental challenges.

Main research priorities of the network

The translation of science into environmental policy, and improving this process to ensure that environmental regulation across europe is evidence based.
