Project: Plasticized lignocellulose composites for packaging materials
COMPAC aims to integrate production of composite material into a conventional reel to reel paper and board making processes with minor changes. The innovativeness is in the pre-modified fibre-material which can be produced as a sheet-like material offering very large variety of applications to be used in. In this project we use entirely lignocellulosic material, i.e. plasticized cellulosics, for the composite and adapt this material directly to the industrial processes.
