Intervention logic – Logic Frame
The intervention logic reflects the thinking that after we clarify the main challenge and aim we want to address and the consequent objectives through which we believe we should address it.
We then define the means, the inputs and the activities that we believe are appropriate to pursue the given objectives.
Inputs include financial, administrative and human resources but also costs for the projects beneficiaries or target population, such as co-financing, compliance costs stemming from administrative burden and costs for third parties.
The management and governance structures, and processes governing the operation of the P2P, how the P2P is set to operate may also be regarded as inputs. These elements are of major importance when assessing the evaluation issue of network health and connectivity.
Don’t forget to set up a monitoring system to monitor the inputs invested in a P2P.
Inputs need to be documented and monitored from the very beginning as this data is important to assess one of the main evaluation issues, that of efficiency, the extent to which the desired effects are achieved at a reasonable cost.
