Submitting a proposal to a joint call usually means applying for funding from a national/regional funding organisation. The submission process therefore involves in principle the following distinct elements:

  • submitting a transnational proposal to the network
  • submitting a national/regional funding application

It depends on the internal structure and agreement among network partners how these 2 actions are carried out in practice.

At a later stage in the joint call the submitted information will be used for evaluation and monitoring purposes. It is therefore advisable to think ahead and decide what exactly should be provided when submitting a proposal.

Advice for Co-funded European Partnerships: According to the grant agreement you have to avoid any conflict of interest and comply with the principles of transparency, non-discrimination and sound financial management.
